The high alpine ski area Heiligenblut am Großglockner offers ideal conditions for freeriding, as it lies almost entirely above the tree line and thus offers numerous deep snow descents, which start at almost 3000 meters above sea level and lead down to the valley. The Heiligenblut mountain guides, as locals, show you the most beautiful and productive runs in the area and guide you to the best descent at the right time. Our partner, Großglockner Bergbahnen AG, brings us to the largest freeride arena in the Southern Alps without long waiting times.

Requirements:
Confidently skiing on black slopes, as well as a solid parallel turn in deep snow.
Meeting point in the morning in front of the valley station Heiligenblut am Großglockner. After a safety briefing, avalanche transceiver check, and a short area introduction, we head straight into the freeride fun with the gondola lift. We place great emphasis on a continuous increase in difficulty; after moderate warm-up runs, steeper and more challenging descents follow, up to steep couloirs and flanks. Depending on the avalanche situation, we find the best descents and are happy to make shorter ascents on request to descend into one of the remote side valleys. We cater to your wishes and skill levels individually, enabling you to have a spectacular yet enjoyable deep snow experience in the heart of the Hohe Tauern.
