Feel the fascination of glacier ice, surrounded by the massif of the Großglockner. The Pasterze is still the largest glacier in the Eastern Alps. Our mountain guides will show you the moving glacier stream up close, which can be crossed spectacularly on a Flying Fox. Additionally, there is a variety of animals living in the glacier to explore. You can marvel at glacier tables and glacier mills, and if conditions permit, a suitable glacier crevasse will be visited by free-hanging abseiling up close. The sometimes huge glacier gate with its enormous cave is also one of the many highlights on the Pasterze. Exciting stories from the Ice Age and about the formation of glaciers to their 'functioning' round off a fantastic experience on the mountain.
