"Good acclimatization and physical preparation, endurance for 500 vertical meters per hour, surefootedness, rock climbing experience.
From the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs Höhe at 2350 meters, the descent with the mountain guide begins to the Pasterze glacier at 2100 meters. Then, the ascent continues on the opposite side towards Hoffmannskees. At Frühstücksplatz at 2796 meters, the ridge climbing starts, ending directly below the Kleinglockner. Overnight stay at Adlersruhe at 3451 meters, and the next day, descent to Ködnitzkees at 3200 meters and crossing to the "upper" Luisenscharte at approximately 3260 meters. Around the corner, the ascent to the Stüdlgrat begins and continues directly to the summit of Großglockner at 3798 meters. Descent via the normal route to Salmhütte at 2644 meters. There, the guided tour ends, and the descent to Glocknerhaus at 2136 meters and the return to Kaiser-Franz-Josefs Höhe are self-guided.
