Good acclimatization and physical preparation, conditioning for 400 meters of elevation gain per hour, sure-footedness, rock climbing experience is advantageous but not mandatory, ski touring experience, off-piste experience for the descent.

For the guiding of this ski tour, we assess the season, conditions, and circumstances on the mountain to determine the best route. Several options are available for accommodations, starting points, and endpoints. On one hand, a start is possible on the north side of the Großglockner at Kaiser-Franz-Josefs Höhe (2350m) or from Lucknerhaus (1918m) on the south side. Accommodation options include the huts around the Großglockner, with their winter rooms or open spaces. In our joint tour planning, we focus on the individual requirements and lead the tour as a 2- or 3-day adventure.
